"مار سرخ" مار سرخ لقب "دیوار تاریخی گرگان" که یک دیوار دفاعی به طول حدودا ۲۰۰ کیلومتر بوده می باشد. این دیوار در زمان ساسانیان ساخته شده و سومین دیوار تاریخی بزرگ جهان است. علت این لقب آنست که در ساخت قسمت میانی آن از آجر سرخ استفاده شده است.
