Семикратный снова собирается уйти на окончательную и бесповоротную пенсию. На этот раз после Дейтоны-500 в следующем году. Для такого случая Хендрик даже оторвал от сердца номер 48 и согласился передать его на одну гонку на Тойоту. Под каким номером будет вместо этого Боуман - пока неизвестно, но я предположу, что для него воскресят 25. 15 лет назад за такие слова меня бы сожгли на костре из стёртых покрышек в инфи…

Это таки случилось. Александр Майкл Уоррен Боуман, которому к концу следующего сезона будет 34, закончит с фулл-таймом после 2027 года. На самом деле, довольно рано и даже немного грустно, но он оказался самым слабым звеном в сравнении с остальными гонщиками ХМС. А проблемы со здоровьем, из-за которых этот сезон оказался провальным уже в марте, видимо, доконали его окончательно. Я только надеюсь, что Алекс сможет в…

Дошёл наконец до выпуска подкаста Джеффа Глака с Томми Джо Мартинсом. Помимо очень горячих тейков, которые он там накидывал, узнал, что Томми Джо изначально учился на журналиста и даже снял короткометражку, которую выложил на ютуб неделю назад. Сюжет рассказывает об одном дне тестов на шорт-треке, и диалоги, в целом, можно понять и через автоперевод субтитров, хоть он и кривоват. История довольно простая, с понимани…

Недавно меня человек, совершенно не знакомый с НАСКАР, надоумил заглянуть на Авито. Я крайне удивился тому, сколько вообще вещей здесь можно найти по достаточно нишевым для России гонкам. Например, за 16.5к можно стать обладателем очень даже красивой модели Форда Торино с автографом Дэвида Пирсона.

А вы помните, сколько побед у Форда в этом сезоне? Теперь две. А вы помните, когда была предыдущая победа Форда? Четыре месяца назад, 8 марта. А вы помните, когда в последний раз на Форде побеждал НЕ Блэйни? 4 мая 2025 года, Логано на овале в Техасе. (435 дней на данный момент) А вы знаете, каким я вижу нынешний Форд? Такого агрессивного маркетинга в НАСКАР не хватало. Карсон Хосевар предлагает подойти к полудню к его трейлеру с мерчем и обменять футболку любого другого действующего гонщика Кубку на свою. Акция действует, конечно же, только для первых 77 человек. Эффект будет небольшой в плане охвата майками, но молва уже разлетелась по всем соцсетям, хотя и получаса не прошло.

НАСКАР в Атланте проведёт профилактическую беседу со Смитом, Хосеваром, Хиллом и ван Гисбергеном. Ни один из гонщиков не был наказан по итогам гонки Кубка в Чикаголенде, хотя многие ожидали штрафов за намеренно спровоцированные выносы. В заявлении представителей НАСКАР вновь прозвучала аргументация в виде "по радио ничего не было сказано, у нас недостаточно доказательств". Примечательно, что Остин Хилл в понедельник…

На Коннора в этом году больно смотреть. В прошлом сезоне он всем чётко показал свой талант, но даже тогда регулярно возникали предзнаменования - перелом ключицы, проигранный титул... В этом году НАСКАР словно живой организм, отвергающий донорский орган. Постоянные аварии, поломки - и в целом жёсткая просадка по скорости у команды. Коннор огребает даже там, где его вина заключается лишь в том, что он стартовал рядом …
