ما خيّبَ اللهُ ظنًا منْ خليقَتِهِ ألْطافُ ربِّي في أقْدارِهِ تَجْري يا قَلْبُ صبرًا وتسْليمًا على ثِقةٍ لعلّ في الغَيْبِ أفْراحًا ولا ندري
لِلّٰهِ سَلّمتُ أمرًا لَستُ أعلمهُ مَالي علىٰ حملِهِ لكِن سَأرضاهُ ربَّاهُ لَولاكَ لا سَندُ ولا أحَدٌ فأنتَ حَسبي وحَسبي أنَّكَ اللّٰهُ
يا ربِّ تعلمُ مَا في القَلبِ مِن أملٍ لا تَحرِم القلبَ مِن حُلمٍ يُناجيه
ربِّ لَو لم تُرِد نَيلَ ما نرجو ونَطلُبُهُ من فيضِ جُودِكَ ما علَّمتنا الطَّلبا
وَكَيفَ يَا رَبُّ نَخشَىٰ مَا نُكَابدُهُ وَفِي حِمَاكَ يُضِيء الفَألُ وَالأمَلُ
إنِّي بِشوقٍ متى الأيامُ تجمعَنا واسعد فؤادي بِقُربي مِن مُحيّاك والطيرُ يشدو بهمسٍ حينَ يسمعُنا وجاوب الدمعُ من عينيَّ عيناك اهيمُ فيكَ ونار البُعد تؤلمُني وقلبيَّ الخفاقُ بالأشواقِ ناداك
بلغتْ بيَ الأشواقُ أبلغَ مبلغِ فتحدّثت عيني بِما لا ينبغي أفشَتْ حديثًا في الحَشا خبّأته يا عينُ لا تبدي الحنينَ وتُفرغي
خُذِ الحَيَاةَ كما جاءتْكَ مبتسمًا في كفِّها الغارُ أَو في كفِّها العَدَمُ وارقصْ على الوردِ والأَشواكِ متَّئِداً غنَّتْ لكَ الطَّيرُ أَو غنَّتْ لكَ الرُّجُمُ
صَبَرتُ علىٰ اللذَّاتِ لمّا تَوَلَّتِ وألزَمتُ نفسِي الصَّبرَ حتىٰ استمرَّتِ وكانَتْ علىٰ الأيَّامِ نفسِي عَزيزَةً فلمّا رَأتْ صَبرِي علىٰ الذُلِّ ذَلِّتِ فقُلتُ لها يا نَفْسُ عِيشي كريمَةً لقد كَانَتِ الدُّنيا لنا ثُمَّ وَلَّتِ وما النَّفسُ إلا حَيثُ يجعَلُها الفَتَىٰ فإنْ أُطمَعتَ تَاقَتْ وإلا تَسَلَّتِ فكَم غَمرةٍ دافعتُها بعد غَمرةِ تَجَرَّعتُها بالصبرِ حتىٰ تَوَلَّتِ
كَم طَوَى البُؤْسُ نُفُوسًا لَو رَعَتْ مَنبِتًا خَصبًا لَكَانت جَوهَرَا وَقَضَى اليُتْمَ عَلَى مَوهِبَةٍ فَتَوَارَت تَحْتَ أَطبَاقِ الثَّرَى إِنَّمَا تُحمَدُ عُقبَى أَمرِهِ مَن لِأُخرَاهُ بِدُنيَاهُ اشتَرَى
اصدَعْ بقولِ الحقِّ دوماً لا تخَفْ مهما لقيتَ لِقولكَ إستنكارا هو خيرُ أنواعِ الجهادِ فلا تكنْ عبداً لِسُلطانٍ طغىٰ أو جارا واجعَلْ صنيعَكَ مثلَ قولِكَ واجتهدْ ما غيرُ ذلكَ ميَّزَ الأحرارا كم قدْ حَرصْتَ علىٰ الحياةِ وطولِها أرأيتَ حِرْصَكَ بدّلَ الأقدارا؟ كلُّ يذوق مِن المنيةِ كأسَها والموت كأسٌ يقصفُ الأعمارا لم ينجُ منها ثائرٌ أو خانعٌ لو في البروجِ الشاهقاتِ توارىٰ تفنىٰ الحياةُ بحُلْوِها وبمرِّها مِن ثمَّ نلقىٰ …
