Хотя в интернете встречается информация о том, что первые светофоры в Рязани заработали в середине 50-х, на фото ноября 1949 года с пересечения улицы Ленина и Почтовой чётко видно светофор, висящий посреди перекрёстка. Возможно, это один из светофоров, которые привезли в Рязань в 1947 году, но долгое время не могли установить на улицах города. Работали ли эти светофоры — вопрос остаёт…

Новости "Дома транспорта Рязани" Подходит к концу временная выставка "Загадки рязанского трамвая". Посетители, пришедшие на выставку с февраля, узнали несколько интересных фактов из истории данного вида транспорта в нашем городе. 8-9 августа будут последние дни этой временной части выставки, после чего "Дом транспорта Рязани" займётся небольшой перестановкой со сменой экспонатов. #ретросреда Раньше путепровод у станции Рязань-2 был ещё меньше. Всего по одной полосе движения, а высота путепровода едва позволяла троллейбусам помещаться под ним. Сразу за путепроводом был перекрёсток с дорогой на станцию Рязань-2 (на фото слева). На фото троллейбусы маршрута № 1 (Дягилево - Лесопарк). Один из недавно появившихся в нашей коллекции экспонатов — рассеиватель освещения для троллейбусов типа ЗИУ-682. Конкретно этот экземпляр был найден в троллейбусном депо № 1, надпись про поручни была восстановлена. Плафона с лампами для него пока нет. #ретросреда Госархив Рязанской области проводит в "Фотодоме" на Почтовой улице выставку фотографий Рязани 50-х годов, включая те, которые ранее публике не демонстрировались. Например — серия фото 1953 года с проводами детей в пионерлагерь. Тут можно видеть колонну автобусов преимущественно модели ЗИС-155, но между ними затесался более старый и технически интересный ЗИС-154 (на фото 2). В Рязани было всего два ЗИС-1…

В ходе работ с грузовым троллейбусом КТГ-2 в недрах его кабины внезапно был обнаружен компостер модели КП-74 1976 года выпуска. То, как компостер для работы с пассажирами попал в кабину грузового троллейбуса — обстоятельства загадочные и нам не известные. #ретросреда Автостанция у вокзала Рязань-1. В советское время прямо возле ЖД вокзала был автовокзал, откуда отправлялись пригородные и междугородние автобусы, в том числе и в Москву. После постройки Центрального автовокзала в 1967 году большинство маршрутов перенаправили туда, и постепенно автобусы покинули эту площадь. На фото видны автобусы "Икарус 55", ЗИЛ-158 и ПАЗ-652.
