مشاهدات نشان میدهد بر اثر موج انفجار شدیدی که احتمالاً ناشی از چند بمب یا موشک هدایتشونده بوده، شیشههای مغازهها و منازل در خیابان وصال و تقاطع انقلاب به طور کامل فرو ریخته است. شدت موج انفجار به حدی بوده که نردههای مسیر بیآرتی نیز از جا کنده شدهاند و بخشی از ساختمانها دچار تخریب دیوار شدهاند؛ موضوعی که نشاندهنده قدرت و حجم بالای انفجار است.
