На 81 году умер председатель Верховного Суда В.М. Лебедев. Начав работу судьей в 1970, он в 1986 возглавил Мосгорсуд. Еще через три года назначен председателем ВС РСФСР. В 1991 назначен, в 1999, 2007 и 2012 переназначен на должность председателя ВС РФ. Для меня он олицетворял преемственность советского и российского правосудия - судебной власти, выполняющей подчиненную, вспомогательную функцию по отношению к власти…
