As the US is hollowed out, we are left with the worst aspects of the 1st and 3rd worlds without the benefits of either. We have 1st world order and process combined with 3rd world corruption and arbitrary application of the law as even the mirage of prosperity dissipates.
For the US to cut off even more oil imports as gas reaches record prices over non-critical strategic goals is just another example of how ideological zeal and womanly spite have become the main determinants of policy.
