أليكم كيفية استشهاد الامام محمد بن علي الجواد عليه السلام. كان الامام عطشاناً وصائماً في يوم شديد الحرارة ودست لهُ السم زوجته اللعينه. كان الامام وحيداً غريباً في بغداد وكان عمرهُ الشريف 25 عاماً. وكان يعاني من حرارة الشمس والم السم وكان حزين جداً لانه تذكر جده الحُسين عطشاناً غريباً في صحراء كربلاء. بقى مرمياً على سطح منزله وحيداً غريباً يتلوى من شدة السم الذي كان يقطع احشائه تقطيعاً…

وصية الأمام الصادق اوصا الأمام الصادق (عليه السلام) ولده الامام الكاظم (عليه السلام) بوصايا عدة ومن ضمنها انه قال: يابني اسرج ضياء بمكان جسدي بعد ان تدفنني فأن الروح اذا فارقت الجسد عادت الى مكانه فأذا رأته مظلماً استوحشت وبعد استشهاده قام الامام الكاظم بغسله وتكفينه ودفنه جنب ابيه الامام الباقر (عليه السلام) في مقبرة البقيع.
