Работы эфиопской художницы Йэнатфэнта Абате. На последних двух фото — две скульптуры из проволоки, обтянутой полосками газет, из серии, посвященной односложным амхарским словам, большинство из которых, конечно же, являются омонотопеей или междометиями. Только узнала, что 16.03 не стало Элизабет Уолде Гиоргис, одной из ключевых фигур истории эфиопского современного искусства💔 Nebs yemar! Соболезную ее родным и всем поклонникам ее научного творчества. Очень советую к прочтению ее книжку про зарождение и развитие эфиопского модернистского искусства. На данный момент это уникальная публикация по теме.
