Нашей лабе в очередной раз дали денег посеквенировать всякое, на этот раз в виде одних довольно специфических грибов из Вьетнама (которые я даже сам собирал). В результате специально организованного выхода с друзьями в район большого строгинского затона по-видимому удалось найти и зафоткать Хвощ ветвистый (Equisetum ramosissimum). Таким образом мне осталось вживую увидеть 7 видов. Но к сожалению большинство из них найти можно только в Америке, ну да как-нибудь справимся

Вчера впервые посетил аптекарский огород. В местных теплицах, к сожалению, гигантских хвощей не обнаружено. Однако на открытом воздухе вот такой вот замечательный хвощатник где растут официально 3 (и мне кажется ещё один неофициально) вида хвощей. В том числе я наконец-то увидел Хвощ камышовый (Equisetum scirpoides). Ну и помимо хвощей место крутое, рекомендую

Ну что ж, товарищи. По итогу залили меня три раза, и пришлось сильно побегать, чтобы устранить последствия. Однако, благодаря толковым юристам, удалось отсудить все затраты на восстановление квартиры и ещё сверху денег. Мне куча людей (которые никогда не судились) говорили, что у нас мол нереально у Жилищника что-то отсудить. Так вот, отсудить можно, хотя долго и местами нервно.

Итак, сегодня пост про давно обещанный новый филум вирусов - Ambiviricota. Для контекста - это открытие примерно уровня как если бы мы обнаружили что существуют хрящевые рыбы, или около того. Данные вирусы открыты буквально недавно (2020 год), поражают грибы в (основном представителей agaricomycetes), и достаточно разнообразны: на 2023 обнаружено порядка 2,500 последовательностей в транскриптомах грибов. В общем скандал с фейковыми блотами в Thermo Fisher продолжает расширяться. Не так давно публиковали (https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-026-01706-2) что нашли уже 127 проблемных изображений. А сейчас инсайдеры из молекулярных биологов мне сообщили, что проблемных блотов уже ~450. Такие дела #треш По-видимому, антитела у них лучше не брать

Ну что ж, командировка моя в Тыву закончилась. В целом всё прошло удачно, собрали тысячу плюс клещей. Причём в одном из мест с ~100 метров мы набрали несколько сотен за пол часа. Не везде конечно количества клещей настолько велики, однако клещи переносчики кучи опасных патогенов - если не вирусных, то бактериальных (а зачастую и тех и тех). Поэтому как минимум помните о технике безопасности при посещении лесов-поле…

Мы приехали в Тыву как-то не с погодой, местами шёл и лежал снег, поэтому с хвощами возникла проблема. Нашлись только сегодня молодые побеги
