Кундера Я очень его любила в старших классах школы. Прочитала до дыр все, что на тот момент перевели на русский язык. Потом, уже на филфаке, я стеснялась своей любви к нему: слишком уж он казался красивым и потому простоватым. Мне кажется, сейчас самое время к нему вернуться. Недавно был Canada Day. Мы пошли в этот день в супермаркет закупаться стейками для барбекю. На кассе нас обслуживал трансгендер, запаковывала покупки в пакеты явно недавняя эмигрантка со значком «Олена», а сзади нас в очереди стояла женщина с надписью на футболке «Покайтесь и веруйте в Иисуса!» И не скажу, что такой «победивший постмодернизм» проходит вот совсем бесконфликтно и трансгендеры в восторге от евангеликов…

Вот вроде выдавливаешь из себя по капле раба имперскость, а потом показываешь ребёнку трансляцию «Щелкунчика» из Мариинки - квитессенции империи: Императорский театр, Чайковский, да ещё и дирижирует доверенное лицо сами-знаете-кого Гергиев.
