Стеклянные скульптуры птиц любили делать не только финны. Венецианцы не отставали. Около 1962 года Алессандро Пианон, штатный художник муранского завода Vistosi, вдохновившись, может быть, финскими стеклянными птицами на миланских Триеннале, сделал серию из пяти скульптур Pulcini (цыплята) — разноцветных, на металлических ножках, напоминающих скорее бокалы, чем цыплят.
