Больше всего меня восхищает, что свой эксперимент автор проводил на земле тех людей, которые и до Генри Торо много столетий жили ровно по этим заветам, а то и заметно аскетичнее. Но в те годы, когда написана книга, коренное население Северной Америки шло на убыль уже невероятными темпами. Что же, что же с ними случилось? Читаю «Уолден, или жизнь в лесу» Генри Торо. В середине 19 века он построил хижину в штате Массачусетс на берегу лесного пруда Уолден, и жил там на самообеспечении 2 года. И в этой книге пишет как хорошо бы всем так же уподобиться природе, и жить в простоте и благости. «Разогнать нависшие тучи и впитать порами немного жизни» — цитата из книги.
