Новый Angles Мартина Кюхена, на этот раз квартет. На Fire! Густафссона как будто стало похоже, но, может, так всегда было. Хотел было ляпнуть, что "давно не было", но выходит, что это я просто про них забыл. В прошлом году был релиз Angles 11, а в позапрошлом и вовсе какая-то джаз-опера.
Новый релиз лучшего немецкого грайндкора. Снова в режиме Back to ze roots, 19 треков на 24 минуты. Один эпический четырехсполовинойминутный трек все же имеется.
Второй альбом австралийцев Believe, по косвенным уликам выглядит так, как будто записи с той же сессии, на которой на первый альбом насобирали.
Про великого финского аккордеониста Киммо Похьенена не вспоминал примерно с нулевых, когда он играл в KTU с Ганном и Мастелотто из King Crimson, а также своим финским другом Косминеном (недавно, к слову, переслушал 8-Armed Monkey, подивился, как все узнал), а тут — хоп, и дуэт с Густафссоном. Ожидаемо дают жару.
В книжном магазине в Руане внезапно книжка Мазена.
Посмотрел немножко на страницу лейбла, рандомно ткнул в каких-то французов, на композиции Headhunter осознал, что откуда-то ее знаю, но понятия не имею откуда. Показывает, насколько хорошо я разбираюсь в творчестве группы Front 242, конечно. Ну хоть теперь запомнил! Для закрепления материала послушал три-четыре оригинала. В принципе, есть еще целый альбом ремиксов, я даже знаю какие-то названия в скобках, но столько …
Оказывается, еще одни отцы электроиндастриала недавно оживали ради прощального тура. Front 242 закончили все вообще в январе 2025-го тремя концертами в Брюсселе, а в прошлом месяце выпустили записи оттуда. Качает как надо.
Пианист великого трио TOC Джереми Тернуа в мае выдал чуть больше минимализма, чем обычно, использовав при этом состав аж из одиннадцати человек. Товарищи по TOC Круз и Оринс никуда не делись, на саксофоне Сакина Абду, остальных вроде не знаю. Скорее Райх, чем Гласс, да и славно. Прилагается свежее довольно большое интервью на 15questions, в основном как раз про этот альбом и про то, как Тернуа любит минимализм.
Усиленные ньюйоркчанкой (вроде она теперь в Ирландии живет, правда) Мэттри южноамериканцы всех стран Гарсия, Анхелес и Неббиа (всех четверых крайне уважаю) довольно хаотично и резко исполняют квартет для альта, виолончели, флейты и саксофона. Peculiar.
Вчера почему-то вспомнил про монументальный регулярно обновляемый плейлист свежего фри-джаза на спотифай, решил, что мне его все же не хватает в жизни, попинал немножко клод код, и вуаля, имею теперь его копию в Tidal. Добавил даже в cron еженедельную синхронизацию.
Выложили список участников берлинского джазфеста, осталось, чтобы здоровья хватило. Брэкстон приезжает, фон Шлиппенбах Globe Unity Orchestra собирает, Йошихиде с New Jazz Quintet, Камила Неббиа с большим составом, Chicago Underground Duo (Чэд Тейлор и Роб Мазурек; слушал их недавно с удовольствием), (Exit) Knarr Хокер Флатена, Александр Хокинс (тоже с большим составом, похоже), перкуссионное трио Марии Португал с Бай…
Неспешно существующая с середины нулевых супергруппа Trio Sowari из Фила Даррента, Бертрана Дэнзлера и Буркхарда Байнса последний раз что-то записывала в 2016-м, и вот сейчас выпустила новый альбом, записанный в 2024-м. Электроника/аналоговый синт, саксофон, ударные. По существу больше ничего сказать не могу (UPD, а, ну вот Илья зато написал, не подводит), но заснул я вчера (ну как вчера, сборная Германии зачем-то иг…
