Pedro Castillo en aspectos simples demuestra ser un cobarde. López Aliaga lo amenaza de muerte, y en lugar de responderle con valentía, diciéndole, por ejemplo: "Aquí estoy, asesiname frente a frente, no tengo miedo morir", o algo parecido; lo que hace Castillo es ir corriendo a la Defensoría del Pueblo a quejarse y victimizarse. Es más, va a quejarse a la institución que él mismo dijo que iba a desaparecerla.
