新华社曼谷2月18日电（记者王媛媛 高博）泰国前总理他信18日获假释。当天6时许，新华社记者在曼谷的泰国警察医院外看到，在该医院治疗和服刑的他信乘车离开医院。 2月13日，泰国司法部长塔威说，本月共有930名服刑人员获得假释批准，他信是其中之一。批准他信获假释的理由是他已年过70岁、患有严重疾病且服刑时间超过6个月。泰国总理赛塔也公开表示，他信是按照相关法律法规获得假释。 他信现年74岁，2001年至2006年担任泰国总理。2006年遭军方政变推翻后，除2008年曾短暂回国外，他信长期流亡海外。他信在彩票舞弊案及银行违规贷款等案件中被控贪污。 2023年8月，他信结束多年流亡生涯回到泰国，随即被警方逮捕。根据泰国最高法院裁定，他信被控的3项罪名成立并获刑8年。因健康原因，他信于服刑第二日被转至医院接受治疗。同年9月泰国国王将他信的刑期减至一年。（完）
