Увидела возможность заказать репринт этого издания, и дальше все как в тумане. ☺️ Этот том не переиздавали с 1913 года. Первый том был переиздан в современной орфографии несколько лет назад, но тираж уже давно закончился. А вот второй, самый важный и интересный, увы и ах. Читаю сейчас новую книгу про Бабу Ягу "Веретено Бабы Яги", которая только-только поступила в продажу. Издательство МИФ. Автор Олеся Яжук. Сразу скажу, что мне нравится, написано хорошо, материала использовано много, со многими моментами согласна, кроме ключевого: автор считает, что Баба Яга - жрица, наместница на земле Великой Матери. Я не забыла про канал. Набрала тут разных монографий про Бабу-Ягу, Великую мать, мифы разных народов, шаманов и т.д., и т.п. Пока катастрофически не хватает времени на то, чтобы сесть и разобрать свои записи в стройный вид, который уже можно превратить в статью. Читаю сейчас разные мифы народов Севера, Поволжья, Шумеров и т.д. Завершим разговор о новых данных о неандертальцах тезисами из книги Финлейсона К. "Умный неандерталец. Охота на птиц, пещерное искусство и когнитивная революция". В этой книге полностью опровергается мысль о наших кузенах как о дикарях, варварах, пещерных людях, примитивных существах и проч. Они первыми начали использовать перья птиц в качестве украшений. Прочитала я сегодня статью про Род и Рожаниц. Автор в конце приходит к выводу, опираясь на все древнерусские поучения против язычества, что Род - это бог загробного мира, а Рожаница (мол, изначально, она была одна, а в более поздних текстах ее стало множественное число) - это Мать-Земля.
