今年是筆者在外地過的第二個聖誕節，這個聖誕依然有聖誕樹、燈飾、聖誕禮物和火雞，但少了一班朋友；這年同時是我一班兄弟在鐵窗中過的第二個聖誕節，從朋友口信得知，他們平常雖然說習慣了鐵窗生活，但在生日或大節的日子還是會有點傷感，這些節日理應執筆給他們寫寫信，但總是難以落筆，到底是寫自己重新生活過得不錯還是寫寫還在為身份、生活而爭扎的手足？ 還記得去年的聖誕，初到英國沒多久，因疫情lockdown沒有枕頭和被，把衣服摺厚一點當枕頭，穿著外套當被，房間的暖氣是朝晚各開三小時，暖氣開著時就熱醒，暖氣停後就凍醒。聖誕大餐是中餐館半價外賣，在房間的地上吃。 今年的聖誕買了聖誕樹，能跟朋友聚餐吃火雞，有枱有櫈，算是開始過著不錯的新生活，大概可以寫信跟牆內的朋友說我生活已經安定，不用擔心。不知同在異鄉的大家今年可安好？ Merry Christmas ☃️🌲祝大家平安。
