لم يمت فقط… بل عُذِّب حتى صعدت روحه إلى السماء مثقلةً بالوجع. في البحرين، لم يكن ذنبه إلا أنه قال كلمة حق، فكان ثمنها جسدًا مُنهكًا وروحًا مُحلِّقة. أيُّ قلوبٍ تلك التي لا ترتجف أمام شهيدٍ خُنق بالألم قبل أن يُخنق بالحياة؟ شهادةُ دمٍ بأن الحقّ لا يموت وإن أُرهِق الجسد. سلامٌ على من صبر… وسلامٌ على وجعٍ لن ينساه الزمن.
