5. Is art a popular subject in your country or schools? I would say yes, it is, because it’s part of the school curriculum. I mean, art is taught in all schools in Uzbekistan. Many students enjoy doing art activities like drawing, painting, or creating small objects using clay. However, most people see it as a hobby rather than a future career. Band 8.0🔥

1. Do you like art? Why or why not? Yes, I do. I’m into art for one main reason. I love the fact that it’s a great way to boost creativity. For example, whenever I draw or paint, I need to use my imagination, right? And that really helps me become more creative overall. Band 8.0🔥
2. Do you prefer modern art or traditional art? Well, my preference is traditional art because traditional artworks like paintings and portraits are usually simple, realistic, and yet deeply meaningful. That’s why I prefer traditional art to modern art. Band 8.0🔥
3. Did you learn art at school? Yes, I did. I remember when I was in primary school, we had art classes, and our teacher used to give us small tasks like drawing trees or landscapes. But, interestingly even though I learned art at school, I’m never good at it. Band 8.0🔥
4. Have you ever visited an art gallery or museum? Yes, I have — but only once. It was actually in Tashkent. I went to the Amir Temur Museum, where I saw different masterpieces, especially historical paintings. Well, for me it was an interesting and memorable experience. Band 8.0🔥
6. Given the chance, would you become an artist? Well, even if I had the opportunity, I wouldn’t choose to become an artist. I prefer doing artwork just for fun and personal enjoyment. On top of that, I don’t think I’m artistically gifted, so I’d rather continue being a teacher — just like I am now. Band 8.0🔥
