Не хочу делать вид, что за последнюю неделю внезапно стал экспертом по Ирану. Поэтому лучше расскажу, какие выводы из этой войны должны сделать для себя арабские монархии Залива. Теперь несколько долгосрочных мыслей, будет интересно перечитать спустя какое время Я всегда говорил, что самое страшное, что может случиться с монархиями Залива - это полномасштабная затяжная война с Ираном. В таком сценарии прекращается экспорт нефти и СПГ через Ормузский пролив, накрывается логистический хаб в ОАЭ, туристы не приезжают, экспаты разбегаются. Экономический крах почти моментальный. Вот и появился горячий повод сюда написать :) Над Дубаем работает ПВО, слышны хлопки в небе, есть случайные (?) прилеты по отелям и аэропорту, о пострадавших точно ничего неизвестно. Все жители получают оповещения на телефон об опасности, кого-то выборочно эвакуируют на подземные парковки или другие доступные укрытия. Сложно судить обо всем городе, но обстановка кажется спокойной - живущих здесь ливанцев, палестинце…

Неподалеку от Гертруды Белл покоится некто Александр Комаров под единственным православным крестом на англиканском кладбище (собственно, поэтому я его и заметил). Имя в сочетании с датой рождения наводит на мысль о белоэмигранте, но никаких дальнейших зацепок к его биографии нет.
