برخی واژگان عربی در زبان ما به کار میروند، اما با توجه به تفاوت دستگاه زبانی فارسی زبانان با عرب زبانان اندکی تغییر در گفتار، خود را نشان میدهد. مثلا إِياب و ذَهاب را در فارسی أَيّاب ذهاب تلفظ میکنند. تَکرار را تِکرار عِلاج را عَلاج جَوَلان را جُولان جِهاد را جَهاد و... @arabi_hallaj

در حدیث آمده است که "الحسود لا يسود" در فارسی نیز میگوییم "حسود هرگز نیاسود" خیلی از ما فارسی زبانان بیدرنگ میگوییم لا یسود میشود نیاسود؛ در حقیقت شباهت آوایی میان این دو ما را به خطا میاندازد، لا یسود از ماده سیادت است یعنی آقایی. و معنای حدیث میشود: حسود سروری نمییابد. @arabi_hallaj

فراوان واژه در فارسی امروز داریم که عربی هستند، در این میان واژگانی هستند که در هر دو زبان بسیار به کار میروند اما کاربرد و معنی آنها متفاوتند؛ ذکر چند نمونه خالی از لطف نیست. انقلاب در زبان عربی یعنی کودتا تعمیر = آباد کردن حکومت = دولت دولت = حکومت کثیف = متراکم کثافت = تراکم شعور = احساس ملت = دین دغدغه = غلغلک دادن صورت = تصویر شراب = هر نوع نوشیدنی جامعه = دانشگاه جنسیت = تابعیت عیادت = مطب پزشک علاقه = رابطه ف…
زبان عربی را "لغة الضّاد" نیز مینامند چرا که این حرف ویژهی این زبان است. از پیامبر اسلام نقل است که فرمودهاند: أنا أفصح مَن نطق بالضاد. حرف ضاد را شاید بتوان مشکل ترین حرف برای تلفظ دانست، آنان که با علم قرائت و تجوید آشنایند، میدانند. جالب است بدانیم که در دوره حکومت عثمانی، این حرف با طرز تلفظ ویژهاش وارد زبان آلبانیایی نیز گردید... @arabi_hallaj

زبان عربی را میتوان زبانی مردسالار دانست، اینگونه که هرگاه اگر حتی یک مذکر در میان چندین مونث حضور داشته باشد، تمامی صیغهها در ارتباط با آن جمع به صورت مذکر به کار میرود. مثنی نیز اگر یکی مرد باشد و دیگری زن، باز مذکر به کار میرود. کلمه "والِدَيْن" را ببینید: این کلمه مثنی ست، والد و والده با هم میشوند "والدین" نه والدتین! مثالی دیگر: قمر مذکر است و شمس مونث، اگر بخواهند این دو را با هم بخوانند، میشود "قمرَیْ…

گوجه فرنگی را عربهای خلیج فارس از انگلیسیها گرفتهاند و آن را "طَماطِم" مینامند، معرب "tomato"؛ عربهای شامات اما از ایتالیاییها، آنان "بَنَدُورَة" اش مینامند، معرب "pomodoro". @arabi_hallaj
