في ٨ ربيع الأول شهادة الإمام أبي محمد الحسن بن علي العسكري عليه السلام سنه ٢٦٠ هجرية مسموماً في السجن على يد المعتمد العباسي ، وله من العمر ٢٨ سنة وقد دفن بمدينة سامراء حيث مرقده الآن بجوار أبيه الإمام علي الهادي عليه السلام .. فإنا لله وإنا اليه راجعون واحسن الله لنا و لكم العزاء يا موالين .. مأجورين
