مهماندوست املاک بسیاری داشت که از خیابان دولت شروع می شد و تا اراج و جماران و منظریه ادامه می یافت. فرمانفرما که یکی از چهره های شناخته شده آن دوره بود چشم طمع به یکی از باغ های شیخ الاسلام دوخت و عاشق یکی از باغ های او شد. نوه شیخ الاسلام روایت می کرد که پدربزرگش مقابل خواسته فرمانفرما رقم بالایی گفته بود اما فرمانفرما این پول را پرداخت کرد تا باغ را بخرد. سال ۱۳۲۰ بالاخره موفق شد این باغ را خریداری کند و مبلغ پی…
