اکنون که او نیست، هر دروغی راست مینماید. -مرگ یزدگرد- بهرام بیضایی (۱۴۰۴-۱۳۱۷) در تاریخ صدساله ایران، عصری که آهنگ ترانه های ریا، دروغ، ایران ستیزی و نیرنگ بیش از فریاد راستی، میهن پرستی و مهراندیشی به گوش رسد، اگر بنا باشد تنها یک هنرمند را در این صحنهی تاریخ نام برد که همچون فردوسی، خالق حماسه خرد، دانش و راستی در نمایشنامه و ادبیات ایران است، او بهرام بیضایی است. من او را همراستای فردوسی در زمان خویش می دانم …
