*ریویو بعد از ویرایش جلد اول The Singing Hills Cycle* دوستش داشتم ولی عمیقا اطمینان دارم که این کتاب برای همه نیست و بسیار گولزنندست. داستان ساختارش یکسری جاها از "روایت در روایت" فراتر میره و وارد حیطهی "راوی دروغگو" و "راوی نامطمئن" میشه، به خاطر اینکه ما معمولا آثاری شبیه به این رو توی فانتزی کمتر داریم من درک میکنم که این مقدار ریویو و ریتِ منفی داشته باشه. مخاطبها اونقدر باهاش آشنا نیستن و نثرِ ساده و فضا…

به نظرم ما الان دوتا سوال مهم داریم، اولینش اینه که: وضعیت Expanse "الان" چطوره؟ به قول ما اصفهانیا، نه حلال نه حرومه. مشخصا آمازون روی کپی رایتش نشسته و حداقل به این زودیا نه خودش حاضر میشه ریبوت کنه نه حقوقشو میفروشه. دنیل آبرامز و تای فرنک (نویسندهها) هم یک سهگانهی جدید دارن که جلد دومش امسال اومده و حقوق ساخت سریال اون هم با آمازونه. پس حداقل به نظر میاد این دوتا تقریبا از Expanse گذشتن. تنها محتوای جدید (خ…

و اصلِ کاری (البته بعد کتابها)رو گذاشتم برای آخر کار. برای من سریال Expanse یکی از بزرگترین What If های تلویزیونه. این سریال خیلی پتانسیل داشت، فصل اول و دوم دقیقا همون حسی که کتاب داره رو منتقل میکردن، سریال تمامِ نشونههایی که یک کالت کلاسیک باید داشته باشه رو داشت. توی ردیت همه در مورد این صحبت میکردن که چهقدر خوشحالن که بالاخره توی دوران طلایی تلویزیون ما یک کارِ سایفای خوب داریم. در حد اون غولهای تلویزیو…

یکی از مورد علاقهترین چیزهام توی این مجموعه همین کتاب TTRPG ـه که سال ۲۰۲۱ براش اومد. من متاسفانه تا الان نتونستم کسی رو پیدا کنم که باهاش بازی کنم (دوستهام هیچکدوم طرفدار علمی تخیلی نیستن، همیشه فانتزی بازی میکنیم)، اما خوندنش و Build بازی رو دوست داشتم. شما به چشم یک دایرهالمعارفِ دنیای Expanse بهش نگاه کنین که طراحیهای زیبایی هم داره.
