"The Ghorewahas trace their origin to Hawaha, a son of Raja Man of Kot Kurman (now Udaipur). In Sambat 1130 or 1131, Shahab-ud-din Ghori granted Hawaha and his brother, Kachwaha, as much land as they could ride around in a single day."
