This should go without saying but I’m sure there will be some idiots that will not understand the issue with the screenshot: The essence of Imān is tasdīq. You cannot be a Muslim without having certainty in Islām. The one who affirms Islām for such a person is himself a kāfir.

r/progressive_islam is one of the filthiest subreddits I’ve ever come across. It is also a clear demonstration that a significant number of claimants to Islām do not see the Dīn as anything more than a cultural identity and/or a (subjective) channel for their “spirituality”.
