فضل زيارة الإمام الحسين (عليه السلام) روي عن الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السلام) أنه قال: «من أتى قبر الحسينِ (عليه السلام) ماشياً، كتب الله له بكلِّ خطوةٍ ألف حسنة، ومحا عنه ألف سيّئة، ورفعَ له ألف درجة». لذا فإن زيارةُ الإمامِ الحسين (عليه السلام) طريقٌ تُترجم فيه الخطوةُ إلى معنى، والسعيُ إلى ثوابٍ لا ينقطع، فهي من أعظم القُربات التي تنيرُ قلبَ المؤمن وتُرسِّخُ صلتهُ بخطِّ الحق. كامل الزيارات – ص ٢٥٤
