فاستجاب الله له، ونجّاه من الكرب وقال سبحانه: ﴿ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴾. تأمّل هذه الآية… لم يقل: وننجي يونس، بل قال: ﴿ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴾. أي أن باب الفرج ليس خاصًا بيونس عليه السلام، بل هو وعدٌ لكل مؤمنٍ يصدق مع الله.
