هل تعلم يا عزيزي عن الشعور المختلط ما بين التفكير بالحياة والموت معاً . نركض من حدف الموت في آخر الشارع، لنهرب للشارع الموازي ، نضحك على أنفسنا بأننا هربنا ، ولكن شكل الموت الصامت ينتظرنا خلف هذه الأقمشة التي نفترشها على رمال البلاد المحترقة ، موت لا يعرف مذاقه إلا من اكتوى به . لا أستطيع أن أخبرك كم أنني حزينة، لا شيء يسير هنا بشكله الطبيعي ، كل شيء يبدو جارحاً .
