هناك فرق شاسع بين من يقول الحق ليرضي ضميره، وبين من يتخذ من الحق 'شماعة' ليداري بها فشل خططه الشخصية. مصلحتك التي تغلّفها بالدين أو المبادئ لا تجعل منك بطلاً، بل تجعل منك ممثلاً بارعاً انتظر حتى انتهى العرض ثم قرر الاعتزال."
