Ich bevorzuge beim WüstenWandern leichte und normal hohe Walking Schuhe mit (selbst)gestrickten Stulpen damit kein Sand in den Schuh kriecht. Genauso wichtig, wie die Höhe des Stiefels/Stulpe ist die Hosenlänge... ...wenn diese möglichst lang und unten nicht zu weit ist, wird kaum Sand in die Schuhe gelangen. Wer mit kurzen Hosen in der Sandwüste gehen möchte, ist es ratsam Gamaschen/Stulpen über den Schuh zu ziehe…
SOCKEN 🧦 Genauso wichtig, wie der Schuh, sind übrigens auch die Wandersocken. Hier haben sich Modelle aus Funktionsfaser bzw. Merinowolle bewährt. Es gibt eine große Auswahl im Fachhandel. Pro Reisewoche zwei bis drei Paar sind ausreichend.
