جمعبندی کوتاه عربهای افغانستان بازماندگان یا منسوبان به گروههای عربیاند که از قرون نخست اسلامی وارد خراسان و نواحی افغانستان امروزی شدند. بیشترشان امروز عربیزبان نیستند و به فارسی دری، ازبکی یا ترکمنی سخن میگویند. هویت عربی آنان بیشتر بر پایه نسب، طایفه و حافظه تاریخی است. تمرکز اصلیشان در شمال افغانستان است و از نظر فرهنگی تا حد زیادی با اقوام پیرامون خود آمیختهاند.
