روى الحافظ الطبراني في «الدعاء» (914) عن عبد العزيز بن أبي رواد، قال: كان المسلمون يدْعون عند حضرة شهر رمضان: اللهم أظلَّ شهرُ رمضان وحضَر، فسلِّمْه لي، وسلِّمني فيه، وتسلَّمْه مني، اللهم ارزُقني صيامه, وقيامه صبراً واحتساباً، وارزقني فيه الجدَّ والاجتهاد, والقوة والنشاط، وأعِذْني فيه مِن السآمة والفترة والكسَل والنعاس، ووفِّقْني فيه لليلة القدر، واجعَلْها خيراً لي من ألف شهر.
