«Одиссея» Переварить картину целиком не получается, пишу отдельные мысли. Смотрел в неплёночном IMAX. • Лучшая сцена — в пещере циклопа. То, как он решён — шедевр. Монстр не сказал ни слова и вообще действовал мало. В этой сцене сострадаешь и антагонисту и протагонисту, которых свёл рок (или боги — как нравится). «Переживём Шекспира» прекрасный армянский трагикомедийный док, режиссёр Инна Саакян. Режиссёр Рубен Газарян, он же сорежиссер фильма, сам пенсионного возраста, ставит спектакль в армянском доме престарелых. Не пьесу Шекспира, а пьесу про Шекспира, в котором персонажи из разных пьес взаимодействуют с самим автором. Думаю, не стоит объяснять, какая это благодатная почва для смеха и слёз. «Отечество» Павликовского. Крутой, но «Ида» сильнее. Картина о возвращении Томаса Манна в Германию (Германии) после краха нацизма. Фазерленд цепляет рационально, не эмоционально. Хотя, казалось бы, какая тема может в меня сильнее попасть, чем возвращение в разрушенную диктаторской войной страну. Может быть, именно потому и не зацепил, что на 5-й год беды сложилось представление, как выглядит послевоенное общество.…

«Отец» пиздец. Мощное кино из Словакии о страшной человеческой трагедии. Большое впечатление. Кино точно во всех деталях и акцентах. Даже — моя больная тема — в изображении активизма. За 5 секунд экранного времени собран характер более убедительный, чем почти везде. Тематически перекликается с «Фьордом», стилистически и настроенчески — с «Adolescence». Приз на Камеримадж (главном операторском фестивале) — не зря. …
Фильм «Фьорд» в трёх словах: кровь стынет в жилах. Это всё тот же Мунджиу, что и в «4 месяца, 3 недели и 2 дня», не хуже и не лучше. На удивление фильм не назвать бенефисом Ренаты Реинсве, она незаметна в большом актёрском ансамбле. Ждать прокат и смотреть.

Посмотрел докфильм «Here, Elsewhere», на который не собирался идти и попал просто потому, что он удобно стоял в расписании. Пока что это наибольшее впечатление от программы фестиваля. Название я бы перевёл как «Здесь, не здесь». Фильм снят изнутри, там, где снимать high quality было бы невозможно. Как снимал Таланкин — но ещё более скромно и на коленке. Только снято не изнутри школы в Карабаше, а изнутри семьи в Ка…

Завтра стартует Золотой Абрикос, первоклассный армянский кинофестиваль. Буду в этом году только на половине феста (жалко, но таков путь). Пока предвкушаю праздник кино, сделаю гайд по всей программе.
