It seems they are now spending a lot of money trying to get it going after restricting our original farmer financially, questioning everything & accusing him of not doing “his job” & much more. It was a sad & disgusting state of affairs the way things were handled & the accusations fired at the farmer & his staff. It’s a working farm. The farm will sell produce and beef wholesale to businesses. Owners share in the profits. The farmer also pays rent shared among the owners. Owners get first dibs to buy at wholesale. End of the day if you see no point you can always sell your lot and get your money back.

Hope it works out better than the one in Kyogle where the hierarchy/bureaucrats changed the original idea that co owners bought into. They were told the hierarchy would be taking only 5% of the sale but they ended up taking 7.5% of total including working capital. Just be aware that just because they head up a reputable organisation behind the scenes, doesn’t mean they’re reputable.
