اَللَّهُمَّ اصْنَعْ بِي مَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ وَلا تَصْنَعْ بِي مَا أَنَا أَهْلُهُ ، فَإِنَّكَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ، وَأَنَا أَهْلُ الذُّنُوبِ وَالْخَطَايَا ، فَارْحَمْنِي يَا مَوْلايَ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ .
إِلَهِي ارْحَمْ عَبْدَكَ الذَّلِيلَ ، ذَا اللِّسَانِ الكَلِيلِ وَالْعَمَلِ الْقَلِيلِ .
سُبْحَانَكَ مَا أَضْيَقَ الطُّرُقَ عَلَى مَن لَّمْ تَكُنْ دَلِيلَهُ .
وَإِنْ كانَ ذَنْبِي قَدْ عَرَضَنِي لِعِقابِكَ ، فَقَدْ آذَنَنِي حُسْنُ ثِقَتِي بِثَوَابِكَ ، وَإِنْ أَنامَتْنِي الْغَفْلَةُ عَن الِاسْتِعْدَادِ لِلِقَائِكَ ، فَقَدْ نَبَّهَتْنِي الْمَعْرِفَةُ بِكَرَمِكَ وَآلائِكَ ، وَإِنْ أَوْحَشَ مَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ فَرْطُ الْعِصْيَانِ وَالطُّغْيَانِ ، فَقَدْ آنَسَنِي بُشْرَى الْغُفْرَانِ وَالرِّضْوَانِ .
يا رب الحُسين بحق الحُسين أرزقني زيارة الحُسين .
وَهذا مَقامُ مَنِ اعْتَرَفَ بِسُبُوغِ النَّعْمَاءِ وَقَابَلَهَا بِالتَّقْصِيرِ ، وَشَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالإِهْمَالِ وَالتَّضْيِيعِ .
