قال معهد إيفو الألماني إن وضع الأرباح في القطاع الصناعي الألماني القوي يتحسن ببطء فحسب وإن أزمة فيروس كورونا ما زالت تؤثر بالسلب مباشرة أرباح الشركات الصناعية. وقال إيفو إن مؤشره لأرباح الشركات الصناعية عند -32 نقطة في سبتمبر أيلول، في تحسن طفيف من -43 نقطة في مايو أيار وهي المرة الأخيرة التي أرسل فيها إيفو استفسارات للشركات بشأن أرباحها.
