گذرگاه تورخم روز چهارشنبه، ۱۵ قوس، بر روی هر نوع تردد بسته شد. رسانههای پاکستانی گزارش دادند که مرز تورخم پس از آن بسته شد که نیروهای طالبان با نصب تابلویی بر ورودی این گذرگاه مخالفت کردند. در پی این مخالفت مرزبانان پاکستان این گذرگاه را بستند.
بخش زنان سازمان ملل در واکنش به ممنوعیت کار زنان در نهادهای ملی و بین المللی، گفته است که این تصمیم ناقض اصول بشر دوستانه است. به گفته این سازمان، محروم کردن زنان از کار، بحران انسانی در افغانستان را بیشتر و عمیقتر خواهد کرد. بسیاری کشورها به تصمیم تازه طالبان اعتراض کردهاند.
دانشجویان دانشکده طب دانشگاه ننگرهار از رهبر طالبان خواستند دستور ممنوعیت تحصیل دختران را لغو کند. این دانشجویان در نامهای به ملا هبتالله آخندزاده نوشتند بعضی دانشجویان دختر در حال سپری کردن امتحانات سمستر آخر شان هستند و تصمیم تازه باعث میشود تمام زحمات آنها هدر برود.
محمد اسماعیلخان در واکنش به ممنوعیت تحصیل دختران گفته است که این اقدام نه تنها دختران را از حق مسلم شان محروم میکند، بلکه مردم را نسبت به آینده ناامید میکند. این رهبر پیشین جهادی در فیسبوکش نوشت به دخترانی که به این تصمیم طالبان اعتراض میکنند، افتخار و از آنها حمایت میکند.

یکی از زنان معترض به افغانستان اینترنشنال گفت ۲۲ اسد زمانی که در تظاهرات علیه طالبان بود،یکی از افراد این گروه خود را کارمند استخبارت معرفی کرد و به بهانه کنترل، آیفونش را گرفت و پس نداد. مونسه مبارز با انتشار عکس طالبی که تلفن او را گرفته در توییتی نوشت:«جهاد برای آیفون دوازده»
محمود عبدالله یک مقام سازمان ملل در ترکیه گفت طی یک ماه گذشته حجم صادرات غلات و مواد غذایی از اوکراین از یک میلیون تُن فراتر رفته و این یک دستاورد است.توافق بازگشایی بنادر اوکراین برای صادرات غلات چندی پیش با میانجیگری سازمان ملل و ترکیه میان روسیه و اوکراین در استانبول امضا شد.
