11.06.2026 Die letzte Nacht in Kenia haben wir im Gästehaus der deutschen Missionsorganisation Diguna (DIe GUte Nachricht für Afrika) verbracht. Ein wunderschönes Gelände, direkt am Nairobi National Park. 10.06.2026 Der Film "The Last Giraffe" war indirekt der Startpunkt des Giraffen-Centers in Nairobi. Das Regisseurs-Paar hatte mit einigen Tieren schon wegen der Dreharbeiten zusammen auf dem Gelände gelebt, als die Idee entstand, die Pflege- und Aufzuchtstation daraus entstehen zu lassen.
