文憑試暫維持4月22日開考 考期壓縮至3星期 教育局局長楊潤雄表示，目前維持以4月22日為中學文憑試為開考目標，並將1個月考期壓縮至約3星期完成。他又說，已制訂兩個後備考期，分別在5月中及6月，最遲4月初決定。他強調這並非簡單的行政決定，除了考慮疫情，亦要考慮整體防疫安排、考生士氣等。楊潤雄重申，會視乎疫情發展以決定何時開考，最壞情況下，一如過去兩年的做法，考評局會有相應評估機制。楊潤雄又說，當局會向考評局提供一筆過約2000萬元資助，包括用作網上評卷系統的運作及提供快速測試包等。他同時呼籲學生盡快接種新冠疫苗，為恢復面授課堂創造有利條件。 2022-02-28 14:13:15 (1)
中學派位7月26日公布 小五下學期呈分試8月舉行 教育局局長楊潤雄說，當局會調動中一派位的日程表，中一派位結果公布日期延至7月26日，學生向獲派中學註冊的日期延至7月28、29日；小五下學期的呈分試成績資料遞交的日期亦會順延到8月。另外，他表示，當局上星期與國際學校等私立學校，就調動假期交換意見，由於有關學校的課程行事曆等與本地學校不同，基於學生利益，局方容許有關學校維持原有假期安排。楊潤雄表示，政府決定為全港開辦正規課程的學校提供一筆過防疫特別津貼，總額超過6200萬元，每間學校可獲派1.5萬元至3.75萬元的津貼，以添置與防疫相關物資等。 2022-02-28 14:10:41 (1)
教育局：彈性容許學校不遲於3月17日放假至復活假後 政府因應第五波疫情，早前提出調動學校的上課日，提前放暑假。教育局局長楊潤雄表示，局方決定將3、4月約4星期的上課日調至8月，希望屆時可以面授課堂，學校原則上由3月7日起開始放假，直至復活節假期結束為止，然後一直上課至8月12日。考慮到個別學校可能要較多時間重整課程進度、調動人手、理順行政工作等，將彈性容許學校不遲於3月17日開始放特別假期，亦相應調整最後上課日至最早8月2日，而2022/23學年維持在9月1日開始。楊潤雄說，個別在9月1日前開始新學年的學校，包括幼稚園，本學年的最後上課日可定於新學年開始前的兩星期。他說，如疫情緩和，當局期望小學與幼稚園在復活節假後恢復面授課堂，中學則在文憑試主科考試後開始面授。他提到在全民強檢期間，部分被徵用作檢測中心的學校只能讓必要的職員回校，而部分學校可以在做足防疫措施下，安排應屆文憑試考生短暫回校，完成必要的計分及考評項目。 2022…

【不設邊境口岸票站】 選舉管理委員會公布最新的立法會選舉指引，適用於 12 月 19 日的立法會選舉和之後補選。 投票日訂在 12 月 19 日，考慮到大批學校會借用作票站，投票日翌日 12 月 20 日會訂為學校假期，全港學校放假，亦會和早前選委會選舉一樣，設有關愛隊和用電子選民登記冊派票，但政府早前指會研究的邊境口岸票站，則未有落實。

【教育局：惡劣天氣下家長可自行決定】 在天文台於記者會上提出會同教育局協調彈性處理上學安排時，教育局同時發文，指局方是根據香港天文台提供的最新資訊宣布當日相應時段的學校停課安排，重申與天文台存在通報機制。教育局指出由於局部地區的情況或與全港整體情況不同，甚至出現突發事件，因此家長現可因應天氣情況自行決定應否讓子女上學，強調學校會酌情處理而學生不會因而受到處分。此前，因暴雨及颱風關係影響的上課安排一般會按既定指引進行，而所參考的指標主要是由天文台所發出的警告。
