Французам явно не повезло с «Адой», слишком уж долго они находятся в ожидании перевода. Так ли исключительно важны эти проблемы перевода? Мне бы хотелось, чтобы вы познакомили нас с сюжетом «Ады». Я считаю, что «Бледный огонь» ваш самый выдающийся роман. Того же мнения придерживается и Роб-Грийе. Во многом это сложное произведение. Вы не могли бы поговорить о нем? И заодно прояснить вашу концепцию романа? У меня нет никакой концепции романа. Осмелюсь даже сказать, что «роман» в виде общей идеи не существует. Я ненавижу общие идеи.
