Что-то романтическое, или неоромантическое присутствует в этом, казалось бы, простом пейзаже. Зритель будто и сам выходит на эту едва различимую дорогу, уходящую в неизвестность, петляющую, растворяющуся в тумане. Когда не было фотоаппаратов, люди (богатые) хранили впечатления в акварелях. Фактически это было и более удобно: листы все же тоньше холстов; позволяло это выбрать и более компактный размер. Ну и по скорости исполнения - акварель все же явно превосходит масло. По сути, именно такая “фотография” и была сделана А.
