"أتجول في ملاحظات هاتفي وصادفني نص كتبته قبل قرابة سنتين، كنت أقول فيه:"سيظل هذا الموقف يدمي قلبي حتى مماتي" ولا أخفيكم أني طوال اليوم في معركة مع عقلي لتذكر هذا الموقف،ولم أتذكره! ولكن الأكيد أني تجاوزته ومازلت بعده حيًا أرزق. المغزى: كل شيء،كل شيء فعليًا قابل للتجاوز، اطمئنوا."

لو ! أنكَ جئت أبكرَ قليلًا حينما كان وجهي أكثر حيويةً وصوتي أقل ترددًا وضحكتي أكثر عُلوًا لو أنكَ جئت قبل أن يغمرني خوف الأعوام لو عرفتُك قبل ان تملأني الجُروح وتترك النُدب على روحي علامة لو تصادفنا قبل أن أُصبح امرأة متوجسة حادة، خائفة، قلقة و تملؤها التساؤلات لو أنكَ عرفتني في ربيعي! الآن أنا خريفٌ.
