پیرهای روستای گِلیَرد تعریف میکردن مردم دور قبر یکی از اجداد طالقانی دیوار ساخته بودن و برای حاجت گرفتن به اونجا میرفتن و نخ و پارچه گره میزدن. طالقانی وقتی این ماجرا رو دید، خودش با کلنگ رفت بالای کوه و دیوارهای دور قبر جدش رو خراب کرد! بعد هم در مسجد به مردم گفت: «او هم انسانی بود مانند شما؛ گیرم علم و تقوای بیشتری داشت. اینها باعث نمیشود برای هر مشکلی بروید آنجا و نخ و پارچه گره بزنید.»
