لا أنسى كلمات د. أحمد عبد المنعم، كان يكرر دائمًا: "حاول أن ترى مشاكلك من بعيد" فالله أكبر من أي نتيجة، وأكبر من أي رقم، وأوسع من أي ضيق لا تجعل نتيجة أو رقمًا يسيطر على قلبك، فالدنيا واسعة، وأبواب الله أوسع، ورحمته لا يحدها ما تراه أمامك الله واسع، فلا تضق بما ضاق عليك!

د.أحمد عبد المنعم كان بيقول إنه مشكلتنا إننا مش عاوزين إلا الأثر الدنيوي الملموس، ونسينا عِظم أجر السّعي وده أظنه السبب في تراخينا لما نلاقي الأمور مش ماشية زي ما إحنا عاوزين أو لما النتيجة -الدُنيوية- متطلعش مُرضية! مع إننا أصلًا مش مطالبين بالنتيجة وده من رحمة ربنا وله حكمة -سبحانه- فـ ليه الإنسان بقى يكلف نفسه ما لا يُطيق ويجلد في ذاته، فيستثقل بعدها السعي إللي هو مُطالب به أصلًا! إحنا محتاجين نستحضر كل لحظة …
