قَالَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: "مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَتِهِ كَفَتَاهُ". معنى كفتاه قيل : يعني تحميه من كل سوء ومكروه. وقيل :تغنيه عن قيام الليل.

سيد الاستغفار وهو أفضل الاستغفار وأكمله أن يقول: "اللهم أنت ربي لا إله إلا أنت خلقتني وأنا عبدك، وأنا على عهدك ووعدتك ما استطعت، أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت، أبوء لك بنعمتك علي وأبوء بذنبي، فاغفر لي فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت"

سبحانَ اللهِ وبحمدِه ، عددَ خلقِه ، ومِدادَ كلماتِه ، ورضَا نفسِه ، وزِنةَ عرشِه كان من دعاء ابن عباس -رضي الله عنهما- إذا أصبح: اللهم إني أسألك بنور وجهك الذي أشرقت له السماوات والأرض، أن تجعلني في حرزك، وحفظك، وجوارك، وتحت كنفك. - لا تنسون صلاة الضحى" تعدل ٣٦٠ صدقة" وهي وصية الرسول ﷺ.

وهابَ، أي: خاف العَدُوَّ أن يُجاهِدَه، أي: خاف الجِهادَ في سَبيلِ اللهِ، واللَّيلَ أن يُكابِدَه، أي: يوقِعَه في المُجاهَدةِ والمَشَقَّةِ بالسَّهَرِ في اللَّيلِ، فلَم يَستَطِعْ قيامَ اللَّيلِ؛ فليُكثِرْ مِن قَولِ: لا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ، واللَّهُ أكبَرُ، والحَمدُ للَّهِ، وسُبحانَ اللَّهِ، أي: أنَّ هذه الكَلِماتِ الأربَعَ، وهيَ مِن ذِكرِ اللهِ، تَقومُ مَقامَ إنفاقِ المالِ والجِهادِ في سَبيلِ اللهِ وقيامِ اللَّيلِ.

قال رسُول اللَّه ﷺ لَقِيتُ إبراهيمَ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي فَقَالَ:" يَا مُحمَّدُ أقرِيءْ أُمَّتَكَ مِنِّي السَّلام، وأَخبِرْهُمْ أنَّ الجنَّةَ طَيِّبةُ التُّرُبةِ، عذْبةُ الماءِ، وأنَّها قِيعانٌ وأنَّ غِرَاسَها: سُبْحانَ اللَّه، والحمْدُ للَّه، وَلاَ إلهَ إلاَّ اللَّه واللَّه أكْبَرُ." رواه الترمذي وقال: حديثٌ حسنٌ.

سُنَّةُ الفَجرِ عن عائشةَ رضِيَ اللَّه عنْهَا، عَنِ النبيِّ ﷺ قالَ: رَكْعتا الفجْرِ خيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنيا ومَا فِيها رواه مسلم. وفي ورايةٍ: "لَهُمَا أَحب إِليَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيا جميعًا". وعنها قالت: لَمْ يَكُنِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ, عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِنَ النَّوَافِلِ أشَدَّ تَعَاهُدًا مِنهُ عَلَى رَكْعَتَي الفَجْرِ. متفقٌ عَلَيهِ.

عن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه قال : إن الوِتْرَ ليس بِحَتْمٍ ولا كصلاتكم المكتوبة ، ولكن رسولَ الله ﷺ أوتَرَ ثُم قال : ((يَا أهْلَ القُرْآنِ أوْتِرُوا ؛ فَإنَّ اللهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الوِتْرَ)) رواه ابن ماجه.
