В виду — сочетание существительного с предлогом; пишется, конечно, раздельно, как и все сочетания существительных с предлогом. В таком значении (в виду какого-то объекта — то есть рядом с ним) употребляется нечасто, чаще в составе устойчивого выражения «иметь в виду». Возможно, в первом варианте многих смутила одна «н» в слове «тушеную». Но тут зависимое слово не от «тушеную», так что это не причастие, а прилагатель…

Новые и относительно новые слова, особенно иностранные, вызывают затруднения чаще всего.
