三國通覽輿地路程全圖 林子平 天明5年（1785） 仙台の林子平（1738～93）は天明5年に、図説1冊と蝦夷・琉球・無人島（小笠原）・朝鮮半島・日本近域の地図5枚がセットとなった国防地理書『三国通覧図説』を出した。図説は蝦夷地の記載に多くの量がさかれ、シベリアやカムチャツカ半島までその論は及んでいる。18世紀末の日本を取り巻く国際環境の中で、最も重要な影響を持ったのはロシアの南下問題であった。そのインパクトに刺激されて出版されたのが本書で、人心に強い衝撃を与えた。林子平は翌年、同じく海防論書『海国兵談』を書き上げ、寛政3年（1791）に自費出版した。それが幕府の咎めを受け、両書とも発禁処分となったため、このように完全な姿で残る例はわずかである。 https://www-user.yokohama-cu.ac.jp/~ycu-rare/views/WC-1_26.html?l=1&n=0 https://www.…
